OM Foundation School:

Weekly Tests:

The regular weekly tests were conducted before the First Terminal Exams and students performed fairly well. These tests helped the teachers in continues evaluation and monitoring of the students before the term examinations.

First Terminal Test:

The First Terminal Exams were concluded in the month of September. The total of 282 students from Nursery to Standard IX appeared in the examination. Exams were based on CCE (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) pattern. The question papers were also set as per the CBSE curriculum guidelines. The results will out in the first week of November.

Eid- Ul – Fitar Celebration

The students conducted a special assembly to mark the festival of Eid–Ul-Fitar. Two students from class V, Soma and Varsha enthralled the audience with stories of the Eid festivities in both English and Hindi. Post this the students of the KG class presented a skit befitting the occasion.

Celebrating the Birth of Mother Teresa:

A special assembly was held to mark the birthday of Mother Teresa. Vishal Jain of class VIII regaled the school with stories of Mother Teresa in English, and Viprita of class VII addressed the school in Hindi. The principle of the school also addressed the students on this special occasion.

Honoring the Teachers:

On this day a special assembly was conducted to mark the occasion of Teachers Day. Swati, the music teacher presented a song and the students of class IV and V presented a “Guru Vandana”. This was followed by “Guruvar Tumhe Pranam Hai” performed by class VIII. Bela the sports coach chanted a slokha in honor of the teachers. Post these celebrations the school principal addressed the students.

Healthcare Activity:

The Rotary club (women’s wing) Noida, conducted a general health check up camp. The camp’s main aim was to check the hemoglobin count of all the students and the teachers. They also gave away iron and worm eradication tablets to the students.

Independence Day Celebration

Independence Day was celebrated with the theme being the Inter house folk dance competition. The representative from EXL Services and Centrica India marked their presence and encouraged the students. They also judged the students in the Folk Dance Competition.      Read more..

The HCL T Quiz Winners!! OMF Students

OM Foundation Students won the Inter School Quiz Competition organized by HCLT Foundation at their offices premises on 15th August. The preliminary rounds were conducted at the school.  The five students from the school participated and won prizes as well.                 Read more..

Creative IT Skills by G-Cube Volunteers

G-Cube has joined hands with OM Foundation for imparting Creative IT Skills to its students at the OM Foundation School. The joint initiative is helping the students to learn various creative skills needed in the IT industry. The students of Standard VII are taking part in this initiative.     Read more..

Samsung Engineering and Eco Generation – Environmental Awareness Program

Samsung Engineering India (SEI) teamed up with Eco-generation, Samsung Engineering’s global environmental education program for children and youth, to launch its first India environmental awareness program at the OM Foundation School on  14th and 15th September, 2012.                       Read more..

Youth Employability Program – Barclays Initiative

This programme targets the underprivileged youth and trains them on various skills sets of Retail, ITES and Hospitality. The aim is make them employable.

The trainings are  successfully carried out by the trained trainers from Barclays Shared Services who volunteer to teach these students. This program is into its second phase. Read more..

“Swayum Sewika”- Empowering Women

The Women Empowerment initiative is supported by HCLT Foundation helping the urban slums women in getting livelihood skill sets. This program is named as “Swayum Sewika” which means self help.

This programme is targeted to train women in garment manufacturing which ensures that each woman is self reliant and can earn to support her family.        Read more..
