Cancer Awareness Talk: Community Development Initiative

Power of One: An initiative of HCL Technologies in partnership with OM Foundation.

HCL Technologies and OM Foundation joined hands to bring a positive change in the lives of the underprivileged by doing various volunteering activities such as healthcare camps, community development projects and awareness camps. Acknowledging its social responsibility, HCL technologies and its volunteers have shown their commitment towards this cause by initiating the program "Power on One". The program "Power of One" aims to strengthen employee commitment to society and environment. This will also strengthen the employee's ability to lead, work in teams, and be a catalyst for social change.

Republic Day Celebrations with friends from Exl and Centrica

The students of OM Foundation School celebrated the 63rd Republic Day in the school. The celebration was focused on diversity, complexities and colors of India. The celebration started with the flag hoisting ceremony. It was hoisted by Col. Gurkripal Singh, dear friend of OM accompanied by the representatives of our corporate partners Centrica India and Exl Services. The students of the school performed the ceremonial march past followed by some patriotic stage performances. Saffron, white and green were the colors of the day synced with the underlying essence, Patriotism.

OM Foundation Students in Barclays Office

On 29th of March 2012, the students of OM Foundation School visited to the corporate office of Barclay Shared Services in Noida. Barclays Shared Services invited the students to provide them an exposure on the corporate working culture and the office environment. As a part of their CSR activities, Barclays organized this day long visit of the Standard IXth students to their corporate floor. They also organized counseling session for the students to help them in choosing a successful career. The students were happy and elated after the visit as they have learnt lot of new things and gained some good experiences which will help them in developing their future. OM Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to BSS for organizing this visit and giving the students a much needed exposure.

Young, energetic and enthusiastic student of year 10 came all the way from United States for week long volunteering activities. She worked on improving the English language and communication skills of the students by conducting various interactive activities. She also encouraged the students to increase the reading habits and suggested lot of books which will help the students. Her dedicated and sincere efforts will prove to be a boon in building the career of these children. Mihika is the daughter of Mr. Rohit Kapoor, CEO, Exl Services.OM Foundation extends sincere thanks to Mihika for spending time with the OM students.
