An Electrical Engineer, Mr. Sachdev also holds a Post Graduate Degree in Management from Pune University. Mr. Sachdev joined the Indian Navy in 1970, and worked on various assignments, primarily in the Training and Education of the Navy Officers and Sailors. During his 20 years with the Navy, he was in charge of preparing the men in the Navy, both educationally and technically fit to face any challenges during war and peace, on ships or on shore. Commander has been working for the Empowerment of youth through Education and Skill Training in the fields of Information Technology and Management since his retirement. He also has been associated with many Institutions for helping under privileged strata of society to bring them up, through counselling and guidance.
