India is the first country in the world to make corporate social responsibility (CSR) mandatory, following an amendment to The Company Act, 2013 in April 2014.The amendment advocates that the affected companies, public or private, shall earmark 2% of average net profits for the immediately preceding three financial years towards CSR. Our work spans 17 years, 20 villages and 1400 beneficiaries.
