Gautam’s parents relocated to Delhi and were living in a cramped one-room flat. His mother wanted him to have a better life for himself. He says that, “taking admission in OM Foundation was my first step towards success. OM gave me an experience of life. I was the captain of my house and that made me value responsibilities.” A perfect 10 CGPA in class 10th, motivated him to work harder to crack India’s toughest entrance examination - JEE entrance. “My teachers guided me at every step and even taught me at 4 in the morning. NIT is just a milestone. I want to join ONGC and run my own NGO just like OM; I wish to make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged just like OM made a difference in my life.” Gautam believes that dreams and hard work can take one to heights.
