We organized a field trip and on-site training for Class 10th students of the Afternoon School at the
ITDC Ashok Hotel. The purpose of this visit was to motivate students to pursue a career in the
hospitality industry. This field trip was a unique experience for the students, as they met and
interacted with existing hotel staff from the front desk and other departments to gain an
understanding of how a star-rated hotel works. It was the ideal way to put a textbook into context.
We extend our gratitude to Mr. Vishal Mathur, Training Manager, and Mr. Sawant Desai, Front
Office Manager of the Hotel, for conducting a special session for our students and hosting them with
so much warmth.
