On World Health Day, we organized a session focused on promoting holistic health practices and awareness among students from classes VI to X. The session was conducted by two speakers, Dr. Sunita Jetly, Director, and Mrs. Aman Khanna, President of BHOR – Living Humanly Foundation, who shared valuable insights on various health-related topics.
The speakers emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including a nutritious diet and regular exercise. They also discussed the significance of vaccination as a preventive measure against various diseases. Additionally, the speakers provided information on menstrual hygiene and the menstrual cycle, highlighting the use of biodegradable menstrual pads and the practice of Jal Neeti. The session also aimed to raise awareness about diseases such as thalassemia and cancer, emphasizing the importance of early detection and timely treatment. To promote menstrual hygiene among girls, they provided menstrual pads and cups.
